Our operation is based on the philosophy that a restaurant should be run like one’s own business. The corporate culture based on such an approach allows managers to be entrusted with appropriate responsibility, the decision-making power and the right to put their own ideas into practice.

HOW WE CARE FOR PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT OF OUR STAFF?
The managerial staff participate in the Developing Champions program. This is an advanced training program, aimed to perfect restaurant running skills and to develop leadership qualities. The scheme has been designed using experience gained by our staff around the world. The “learning by doing” principle and support from coaches enable the candidate to become a Deputy Restaurant Manager as early as within 6 10 months and a full manager within 12 15 months.
The managerial staff development program assumes that nobody knows trainees’ weaknesses as well as they do themselves. This is why we have set up an educational fund for our employees; the money can be used by managers for their own personal development – participation in MA courses, post-graduate courses, extramural studies, training sessions provided by outside firms or courses of English.
WHAT CAREER OPPORTUNITIES WE OFFER?
The Company’s HR strategy consists in “searching for pearls in the internal resources”, developing people and putting them where they fit best. We believe that the best way of finding right people for our vacancies is to promote our own most able staff members. We also employ people from the outside, if they can contribute fresh ideas to perfect our business.
We offer managerial positions at our restaurants to students completing their university education and to university graduates; usually such people start their careers from the position of Deputy Restaurant Manager. Successive career opportunities include: Restaurant Manager, Regional Manager... Career opportunities are not restricted to the same department, business line or country. Restaurant staff can be promoted to positions at the Company’s head office in Wrocław.
HOW WE WORK...
We manage with enormous positive energy and we are able to infect others with it. Work at a restaurant requires availability, dedication and frequently sacrifice, but it also brings with it tremendous satisfaction. A restaurant is simply a place you enjoy being at, somewhere you meet your friends, with whom you want to relax after work, sharing with them your personal joys and worries.
Each manager is involved in day-to-day operation of the restaurant and also acts as a leader, communicating his or her appreciation, motivating his or her staff, training and coaching them. Work at a restaurant lets managers gain experience in managing people, customer service, logistics, finance and marketing. Each manager is expected to draw up an annual operating plan for the restaurant, allowing him or her to realistically assess their own abilities and to set themselves some ambitious goals.
...AND HOW WE PLAY ?
We play as we work: intensively and on a grand scale. Every year our managerial restaurant staff meet at the AmRest Leadership University. This is a training convention at which the knowledge gaining process is accompanied by unforgettable social and other events. This is also a time during which we try to become involved with the local community, offering them our assistance. We also have fun at New Year’s Balls, integration events or various social meetings, always bearing in mind our motto: “Work hard, play hard”.
WHAT PEOPLE WE SEEK?
